OUR CHAPTER CHAPLAIN
I must say that I am not ordained, and
have no titles or degree in Theology, only
life itself & the calling God
placed on my heart back in the 1995. When I
started in CMA in 1999 I learned true ministry and
evangelism. And coming from a very heathen
motorcycling past that started in the mid 70's, and
having close to 24 years of first hand experience with
grief & loss from working in an ICU have helped me to
be non-judgmental, a good listener that does not
repeat what I am told (I believe everyone needs a
confidant that they can trust on all levels), to offer
sound council (when asked for it) on a broad spectrum
of issues, and most importantly to go to the right
place (God) for support/insight/and guidance in all
situations.
I like what our group stands for and is trying to
accomplish without all the politics of many groups
these days. And seriously pray and think about being a
Chaplain for our club daily, seeking God's will and
guidance as I walk my path. I will never assault
someone with God's word or beat you over the head with
a Bible. That was not Jesus' and will not be my way
either. I prefer to show the love and light that is
Our Savior through my daily walk.
It is my honor to serve as Chaplain for Chisholm
Trail Riding Club. And please never hesitate to to
call or email me if I may be of service or assistance
to you. Don't steal my blessing by thinking that I am
too busy to pray, offer my shoulder or ears, time or
the tenderness of truly caring for one of my fellow
members & their family.
My home
church is New Hope Community Church in Temple Texas if
any of you would like to come and visit on any Sunday
at 10:30AM. The address is 1 Apache Drive just off of
FM2305 west off IH-35 about 2 miles.
